All your social media are belong to us…
0This is becoming a bit of a habit, but… Once again, there’s no “Weekly Round Up” this week. The Royal Wedding and the cluster of public holidays that have descended on us here in the UK have managed to shove these updates off schedule. Hopefully, we’ll be back with some previews and updates next week.
For now, though, here’s a gentle reminder of all the ways you can keep up to date with what’s going on with Babble:
| Subscribe to our RSS feed and keep up to date with all the latest updates on this here blog. | |
| If you’re not into using RSS, you can still get all the latest updates by following us on Twitter! | |
| Ever on the cutting edge of social media, we’ve also got our very own Facebook page! | |
| And for all you old-schoolers out there, we still have a MySpace page up and running! |
And if you want to see what we’re up to away from Babble, be sure and check out or respective blogs! Here’s mine and here’s Bryan’s.
Affiliating ourselves…
0Firstly, apologies again for the lack of a “Weekly Round Up”. With the Easter holidays here in the UK, the upcoming Royal Wedding and the ridiculous cluster of Bank Holidays that have cropped up on the calendar, it’s kind of thrown our schedule a little. Hopefully we’ll be back to the weekly updates proper soon.
Now, as the more eagle-eyed among you may have noticed, several adverts have begun to appear on the left hand side of the screen. Originally, we wanted to keep this site ad-free, but various factors have weighed in over the last twelve months or so and the cost of running this site is, frankly, becoming expensive. So, rather than just have a PayPal “donate” button we’ve joined several affiliate programmes in the vain hope of convincing people to buy stuff through them and help us pay the costs of keeping this site up and running. Shameless? Well, yeah, but we’re in a time of austerity, and we’re not too proud to beg for help on this.
So, if there’s anything on display over there that you fancy adding to your collection, please feel free to click through and buy it and help us pay our costs. Although, don’t be surprised if the aforementioned PayPal “donate” button makes an appearance in the next couple of months…
A whole new look…
0It’s been long overdue, but this here blog has finally got the facelift I’ve been promising it since… Well, since it first went up, really. I’m still figuring out a few teething problems with the new look, but nothing that will affect the browsing of the site.
As for the book itself… Well, the script is almost finished and Bryan is planning out the rest of the second chapter, and… Well, there’s not much more to report on that side of things yet. We’re in that weird phase of development where we’re keeping our heads down and trying to make sure it’ll prove to be a damn entertaining read.
In the meantime, be sure to go and check out the new Read Us page, where you can find the details of our previous collaborations (and read our very first one for free), and remember, you can follow us on Twitter, and stay up to date with what we’re up to as the production rolls on. If you want to know what we’re up to individually, be sure to check our personal blogs (Bryan’s is here and mine is here).
For now, though, it’s back to the grindstone!
