Yes, I know, there was no update last week, but I have a good excuse! Honest!

Well, actually, no, I don’t. That thing we laughingly refer to as “real life” got in the way, and last week’s update kind of fell of the radar. That’ll teach me not to schedule posts in advance, I suppose…

So, what’s going on with Babble, you’re probably not asking. Well, as we inch ever closer to the end, we have to watch what we say and what we show on-line in case we give away spoilers, so the sneaky peaks and WIP images are going to be slowing down a bit over the next few weeks, and as a result, the weekly updates may well slow down, too. And maybe stop altogether. We’re still working it out. Watch this space.

There’s a lot of stuff I’d love to throw up here – like some more in depth looks at the research that’s gone into the story, how it and the characters have evolved over the course of the production and some discussion on the visual look of the book – but it’s all far too spoiler-y at the minute, so it’s going to have to languish in the depths of my hard drive for the minute.

All I can say is that we’ve got something bubbling away, which – fingers crossed – might be ready in time for some upcoming cons. Or it might not. I’m promising nothing.

And on that rather vague note…
